Triplen Harmonic Reduction

Triplen harmonics (3rd, 9th, 15th) are zero-sequence components and naturally accumulate in the neutral.

HMT winding schemes such as zig-zag, delta-zig-zag, or special dual-secondary configurations redirect or cancel these triplen currents, reducing neutral overloading.

Phase-Shifted / Multi-Pulse HMTs

Provide a deliberate displacement between secondary outputs (e.g., 30° or 15°). When loads are divided appropriately, the 5th and 7th harmonics cancel naturally.

Active Harmonic Treatment:

These harmonic mitigating transformers actively and significantly eliminate third harmonics in the secondary winding, preventing harmonic distortion from affecting the upstream power distribution system.

Eliminate Neutral Overload:

Featuring a neutral busbar designed for 200% of the rated capacity, these transformers can safely handle the superimposed currents generated by non-linear loads, preventing equipment overheating or fire hazards.

Full Capacity Usage:

Designed for full-load operation, the LTEC HMT can handle harmonic heat at the same standard without requiring increased capacity, providing you with 100% rated capacity operation.

Superior Voltage Stability:

In addition to reducing voltage "flat-topping" caused by non-linear currents, it provides a cleaner power supply to your system, extending the lifespan of sensitive equipment downstream in the power grid.
